THE EXTRA MILE

Friday 31st Jul

This was an incredible journey which I enjoyed each Km and each day!

Running is more than just physical exercise, it is about bringing balance in your life. It helps you to develop a better mindset regarding all daily challenges and to recharge your batteries.

The month ends and I feel like "Mission Accomplished" because I achieved two goals:

1. Personal: to plant the "run seed" on my behavior and exercise more often.

2. Global: to help RUOK? to continue the wonderful work they have been doing. When you watch a presentation with real people telling about their lives you perceive how important this 4 letters are important.

Special thanks to all supporters, mainly those that support me!  :-) Without your kindness all this wouldn't be possible.

That's one of the points I love to live in Doreen. Some mates came along during my Run.

Month is ending and also the challenge. I am happy about what has happened during this period, it is nice to be back to the road!

7Km to go in 4 days.  :-)

Hard Freeze getting us crazy. But at least 3.5 K more!  Yeeeeaaahhh!!!

Feeling Healthy

It has been great this journey. I am feeling more energized to face the difficulties of the day.

I am mentally better and I feel my body stronger.

I strongly recommend everyone to join! 

Assumption changed

Monday 13th Jul

After 10 days running I realize I need to re-evaluate my Km target. At first, I was intending to run 3Km per day and that would be enough to achieve the 90Km.

However, the feet injury and the muscle tiredness make me realize I can't run everyday. I need to give my body some rest to recover.

So, since I run 20Km in 13 days, my new path to pursue will be 50Km till the end of the month.

Record since started

Friday 10th Jul

Today was my record with 3.77Km! So happy!

Tomorrow I am going for 5Km. Long time I don't run this distance, so let's see how it goes.  :-)

Another Lunch Run

Thursday 9th Jul

Today was a sunny day and it was very nice to go for a run. My feet still hurts, but I got to do almost 3K.

It has been a good week.

Feet hurt

Tuesday 7th Jul

Yeah, on today's run I felt a pain in the back of my feet and I couldn't go further.

I am feeling better with my breathing and muscles, but doing repeatedly the same movement got me some bruises.

Maybe I will take one day rest or try to protect with something.  :-(
