I'm fundraising for a great cause!
We have decided to fundraise for R U OK? because supporting mental health and wellbeing is something that is important to our BASC community.
R U OK? encourages people to check in with those around them, start meaningful conversations and remind others that they are not alone. We believe that even a simple question such as “Are you okay?” can make a big difference and help someone feel supported, heard and cared for.
Through our fundraising efforts, we hope to teach the children the importance of kindness, empathy and looking out for one another. We also want to show our support for an organisation that works to encourage conversations around mental health and helps create stronger, more connected communities.
By coming together to raise funds, we hope to make a positive difference while reminding everyone that it is always okay to ask for help, talk about how you are feeling and check in on the people around you.
