Suicide prevention is a cause that means a lot to me.
Every day 8 Australians take their own life, sadly whilst i was younger my mum was one of them, i never understood sucide or why it would happen until i got older.
I believe that 8 is too many.
Just being present in the moment could help save and change a life for the greater good.
Kindness doesnt cost a cent, brutality of any sort could cost a life.
I have started this page both as a tribute to a loved one lost and as a beacon of hope in the fight against suicide.
R U OK?’s vision is of a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide.
Their mission is to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life.
By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.
