Feather & Lawry were overwhelmed with the support for our R U OK? Day campaign from last year that we have decided to do it all again this year!! Our goal is $5000 but just as importantly our goal is to raise awareness around the topic of mental health.

For the month leading up to R U OK? Day 2022 we are setting time aside to spend time together as a team strengthening our connections and support network within the office. In our workplace we do our best to look out for our colleagues and check in on each other regularly.

About 8 people take their own lives in Australia every day.

For every death, it’s estimated another 30 people will attempt suicide.

89% of people report knowing somebody who has made an attempt.

This is a cause close to all our hearts at Feather & Lawry and we want to help change these numbers.

R U OK?’s vision is of a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide. Their mission is to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life. By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.
