This July, I’m making a commitment to run every day and clock my K’s for R U OK?
This challenge is about raising awareness for the importance of meaningful connection with others, checking in on those around us and supporting those who may be struggling with their mental health.
I’m taking on the K’s for R U OK? by running 8 km every day in July. Why 8? The end of July will mark 8 years since my beautiful neighbour and family friend took his own life, something I rarely talk about. I am running for him, for connection and in support for all those who are struggling with their own mental health.
