I'm fundraising for a great cause!
8 people take their own lives in Australia every day.
On 29th August 2021, my brother Gavin unfortunately become a part of this statistic.
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month - a time to raise awareness on this stigmatized and often taboo topic.
I am making some car decals in memory of Gav and asking if anyone who would like me to send them one, to donate a small amount and keep my brothers memory alive.
People keep asking what they can do to help our family - if a car decal is not for you, you can help by donating to this wonderful charity and never stop talking about Gavin.
R U OK?’s vision is of a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide.
Their mission is to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life.
By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.
