Wheels of W3ll-being Join Us

Why I chose this charity to ride in

Mental health is incredibly important to me. That’s why I’ve decided to participate in this charity ride and fundraise for R U OK?

Every day in Australia, about eight people tragically take their own lives, and for every life lost, it’s estimated another 30 people attempt suicide. These numbers are heartbreaking.  It's frightening to know that 89% of people report knowing someone who has made an attempt.

I want to be part of the group that can help change this situation. R U OK?’s vision is a world where everyone feels connected and protected from the risk of suicide. Their mission is to inspire people to meaningfully connect with those around them, offering support to anyone struggling with life. By encouraging conversations and asking a simple yet powerful question, “Are you OK?”, we can help people feel seen, heard, and valued long before they reach a breaking point.

Through this ride, I hope to help raise much-needed funds for services that support not just the individuals who are struggling, but also their friends and families. Together, we can spread the message, foster understanding, and contribute to preventing suicide.

Thank you so much for your support. Together, we will make a difference.
