About the Zine

In Another Life is intended to be a serenade to the rarepairs and crackships throughout the Fire Emblem fandom. The theme revolves around the concept of had circumstances been different the choice relationship could have been together; perhaps they are reincarnated, deep space fantasy au, medieval au. We chose In Another Life because of the multitude possibilities for crackships and rarepairs it presents. It can be hard as fans to find art and fics about your favourite pairings, especially when they are crackships or rarepairs. Maybe your favourite pairing is from an older game and no longer gets recognition due to newer shinier pairings taking the centre stage, or perhaps you were playing and there were two characters you wanted so desperately to interact but they didn't. As mods we recognise that pain, and as the saying goes if you want something done, do it yourself. Here is the opportunity for all of us as fans to create art and fics based on our favourite pairings and have it part of a compilatory zine. 

The zine will be digital only, with all proceeds raised going to RUOK. RUOK is an Australian Charity dedicated to raising suicide prevention awareness, by promoting people to connect with eachother and ask the question “Are you ok?”
