In Australia, about 8 people take their own lives each day, and for every death, it's estimated that another 30 people attempt suicide. Shockingly, 89% of people report knowing someone who has made an attempt.
We’re dedicated to changing these numbers. R U OK? envisions a world where everyone is connected and protected from suicide. Their mission is to inspire us to meaningfully connect with those around us and support anyone struggling with life.
By asking, “Are you OK?” and truly listening, we can help those in need feel connected and supported long before they face a crisis.
