I'm fundraising for a great cause!
We have decided to fundraise for R U OK? to help spread their message and help prevent suicide.
About 8 people take their own lives in Australia every day.
For every death, it’s estimated that another 30 people will attempt suicide.
My family and I were affected by suicide in 2019. The effect on our family was devastating. I would love to be able to help others who are feeling this way and try to eliminate these numbers. I want people to know that not being okay is OKAY. - Ava
Seeing the toll mental health issues have taken on others and the number of suicides increased in the community, I want to help people in knowing they are not alone and help is always available. - Ruby
By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.
