R U OK Day 2025 - PM&C

By Charlie Gorden

PM&C's Wellbeing Network is fundraising for an important cause!

At PM&C we do our best to look out for our colleagues and check in on each other regularly. The Wellbeing Network's focus is to advocate on mental health and wellbeing matters for all PM&C staff. We are committed to ensuring all staff have the support they need to balance work and their wellbeing every day.

About 8 people take their own lives in Australia every day.

For every death, it’s estimated another 30 people will attempt suicide.

89% of people report knowing somebody who has made an attempt.

The Network wants to help change these numbers. A supportive work environment can act as a protective factor for mental health, providing purpose and stability, and we all have a role to play in helping reduce the remaining stigma associated with talking about and tackling mental health.

R U OK?’s vision = a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide. Their mission is to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support those struggling with life.

By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen to the response, you can help people who are struggling to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.

Thank you so much for your donation, together we will make a difference.
