I'm fundraising for a great cause!
Hi Everyone!
Inspired by missing out on City2Surf due to Covid I decided to set myself my own running challenge. For the entire 30 days of September, I aim to complete a run everyday, rain, hail or shine. Throughout this month, I am hoping you can help me fundraise for R U OK and help support one another.
Whilst the physical challenge itself is one thing, I am also challenging myself to speak openly and encourage others to speak about what's going on inside their head. Previously I had always found speaking about these kind of things difficult and would generally stay quiet. However, having gone through various tougher times, and being on a push to better myself, I've discovered just how helpful and important it is to reach out to the people close to you, speak openly, and support one another. I encourage everyone to reach out to the people closer to them and check how they're really doing.
I would love your support via donation if you can afford it, however, if you can't you can always help out by spreading word, or just asking the people around you how they are doing!
I'm also always keen for people to join me on any of the runs so reach out if you are interested!
