I'm fundraising for a great cause!
In our workplace we do our best to look out for our colleagues and check in on each other regularly.
About 8 people take their own lives in Australia every day.
For every death, it’s estimated another 30 people will attempt suicide.
89% of people report knowing somebody who has made an attempt.
We want to help change these numbers.
R U OK?’s vision is of a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide. Their mission is to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life.
By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.
Thank you so much for your support, together we will make a difference.

My Updates

R U OK? Day is a national day of action that reminds us all to check in with those around us and ask a simple but powerful question: “Are you OK?” It's about starting meaningful conversations with friends, family, and colleagues who might be struggling with life’s challenges.
While this day shines a spotlight on the importance of mental health and connection, the R U OK? campaign encourages us to have these conversations all year round—to build trust, show we care, and help make talking about mental health a part of everyday life.
To support this important cause, we've created an AELC donation page, where you can contribute and help make a difference.
Every donation helps raise awareness, fund resources, and encourage more Australians to reach out, listen, and support each other.
Let’s stay connected. Let’s ask, listen, and support—today and every day.
