I'm fundraising for a great cause!
Well the pandemic isn't quite over but the time has come for me to finally lose the long flowing locks and super long wizard beard that I have been growing since the start of COVID in January 2020 to have some fun and raise some awareness and funds for charity.
I am supporting R U OK? to help spread their message and to help friends and family realise that they can make a real difference to those they care about by staying in contact with people whether it be friends, family or work colleagues and especially when they are going through tough times and need loved ones the most. You might not even know they need you or how valuable it is to ask R U OK?
The stats on why this is so important are frightening and I have unfortunately been affected by this personally too many times in my life with friends and close family members and I want to help change these stats for the better.
R U OK?’s mission is to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life.
By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected.
PLEASE NOTE - THANKS TO THE AWESOME SUPPORT WE HAVE RECEIVED WE HAVE HAD TO MOVE THE LOCATION OF THE FUNDRAISING EVENT TO THE NEUTRAL BAY CLUB @ 3 WESTLEIGH ST NEUTRAL BAY NSW 2089 - SAME TIME 5pm - 10PM AND KIDS CAN STILL BOWL FOR THOSE THAT NEED TO BRING THE KIDS !
