In our workplace we do our best to look out for our colleagues and check in on each other regularly.

About 8 people take their own lives in Australia every day.

For every death, it’s estimated another 30 people will attempt to take their life.

89% of people report knowing somebody who has made an attempt.

We want to help change these statistics. That's why we are committed to matching all funds raised by our staff.

We hope to inspire people in our community to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen. We can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about taking their life.

More Than Skin Deep: Supporting R U OK? on World Suicide Prevention Day

At Advanced Cosmeceuticals, we believe that true wellness goes beyond the skin. On World Suicide Prevention Day, we proudly stood alongside R U OK? to champion a message that resonates deeply with our values: the power of a simple conversation.

Today, our team came together for a heartfelt luncheon dedicated to checking in, connecting, and supporting one another. Our Head Office was adorned in vibrant yellow, with themed R U OK? cupcakes, decorations, and encouraged staff to wear something yellow as a subtle nod to the cause.

To ensure our remote team members felt just as included, we gifted each a $30 Uber Eats voucher, allowing them to enjoy a delicious lunch while joining us via livestream. It was a small gesture with a big impact - reminding everyone that no matter where we work, we’re part of the same caring community.

We were honoured to welcome Kathleen Tan and Georgia Condon, who generously volunteered their time to speak with us about the importance of asking “Are you okay?” not just today, but every day. Their insights were both moving and empowering, especially in the context of workplace wellbeing.

Of course, no Advanced Cosmeceuticals event is complete without a touch of luxury. Our guests from R U OK? left with gift bags filled with some of our favourite skincare and wellness products - a sincere token of our appreciation and a reflection of our commitment to holistic care.

Today was more than a lunch. It was a reminder that behind every screen and every desk is a person who might need to hear that simple question: Are you okay?
