I'm fundraising for a great cause!

I have decided to fundraise for R U OK? to help spread their message and help prevent suicide. 

About 8 people take their own lives in Australia every day.

For every death, it’s estimated another 30 people will attempt suicide.

89% of people report knowing somebody who has made an attempt.

I want to help change these numbers.

R U OK?’s vision is of a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide. 

Their mission is to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life.

By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.

Hi there, Welcome to Cash Converters R U OK Fundraiser for 2021.

We as people are going through difficult times at the moment with what's going on in the world today and come together and show support for one another.
For those who don't know about R U OK Day, It's on Thursday 9th September 2021 and its dedicated to remind everyone that every day is the day to ask  "Are You Okay?" And support those who are struggling with everyday lifes ups and downs.

We all know someone who has lost someone to mental illnesses or even facing it themselves. Speaking from personal experience, I suffer from Chronic Depression and suffer major Anxiety since 2014 and it's hard. Ive also attempted to end my life a couple of times aswell because its hard to get out of that mind frame once your head is in that situation and u didnt want that pain anymore. I still have my days where I have goods days and bad days but mostly good days. With this fundraiser that I am Creating on behalf of Cash Converters Clarkson WA, I hope that WE can reach OUT to as many people and save some as WE can and tell them that they're not ALONE and that you are LOVED by people.

So all we are asking for is a tiny donation to go towards the awareness or even ask someone "R U OK?".

OPEN ARMS: 1800 011 046. A 24/7 support for current and ex-serving ADF personnel and their families.
