We are once again getting behind R U OK? to help spread their message and help prevent suicide.
About 8 people take their own lives in Australia every day.
For every death, it’s estimated another 30 people will attempt suicide.
89% of people report knowing somebody who has made an attempt.
We want to help change these numbers.
R U OK?’s vision is of a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide.
Their mission is to inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life.
By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide.

Tuesday 7th Sep Saturday 11 September will see Sunshine Coast Junior Rugby League hosting the final RISE session for 2021 and the kids finish it off with a game of footy!In support of RUOK? Day, we will be hosting a sausage sizzle, with 100% of sales being donated to RUOK?
This event has been supported by local businesses, such as IGA Baringa, be sure to pop in for all your local groceries! Bunnings Caloundra also donated a heap of gear for our new Nirimba facility as well!
SC Falcons will also be hosting U16 Cyril Connell trials, so come on down, its going to be a great day of footy! Share
