In Memory of Matthew Morris

We’re raising funds to support R U OK?’s mission.

Matt was a kind and much-loved part of the CX Design and broader Officeworks teams. He was known for his humour, humility, care and passion by everyone that knew him. Even those that only met him once or twice have reached out admiring his personable and thoughtful approach. 

One way for us to keep Matt close in our thoughts is by raising funds for R U OK? Whose mission is to “inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life”.

By inspiring people to take the time to ask, “Are you OK?” and listen, we can help people who are struggling with life to feel connected long before they even think about suicide. Tragically, every day 8 people will take their own lives, and another 30 people will attempt to for each of those deaths.

Every day in the lifts, in our meetings and around the lunch table we will naturally ask how someone’s day is going. The next time you ask or check in with how the workload is going, make sure you listen with intent and open a care conversation if necessary.
