I'm fundraising for a great cause!
Hi everyone,
In 2023 I ran the Sydney marathon which was my first ever marathon. This year I have decided to go one step further; I will be running the Sydney marathon on 15th September, and four weeks later I will be running the Melbourne marathon on 13th October.
Over the 84 kilometers (42km per marathon) I will see a lot of famous sites along the way. In Sydney I will run over the Harbour Bridge and across Sydney before finishing at the Opera House. In Melbourne I will start at the Rod Laver Arena and run all around Melbourne before finishing the 84km journey on the pitch of the MCG.
Since it will be a difficult task doing two marathons in four weeks, I have decided I might as well raise some money for charity in the process. I have decided to fundraise for R U OK?
Their mission is to "inspire everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and support anyone struggling with life"
